From September 13th to 16th, 2025, 50 experts from the Belgian Royal Forestry Society, including private forest owners, forestry and nursery specialists, visited the Southwestern State Forestry Enterprise (SWSFE). As part of their study tour, they visited the Lokorsko nursery and learned about the enterprise’s activities for sustainable forest management and restoration. Particular attention was given to the CLIMAFORCEELIFE project, which focuses on adapting forest ecosystems to climate change. The participants also showed interest in the work on the restoration of priority forest habitats, as well as in the Information Center. The program included field tour to the Sofia and Kresna State Forestry Units, focusing on adapting forest ecosystems to climate change and on the regeneration of forests affected by wildfires.
