A group of new volunteers at WWF Hungary learnt about forests and the CLIMAFORCEELIFE project

WWF Hungary organized its season launching volunteer training on 14-16 February 2025, in Királyrét, Szokolya. The foundation’s youth programme participants got to know the CLIMAFORCEELIFE project and started brainstorming about possible topics they will address in this year’s youth empowerment project.

Gergő Györgyi-Ambró, WWF Hungary’s environmental education and youth engagement officer presented the project’s main messages while alumni volunteers have facilitated other parts of the weekend, such as the immersive forest bathing exercise the first day. The densely packed days were interspersed with walks in the nearby wintry forests of the Börzsöny mountains where participants learnt about the role of our forests in the mitigation of climate change.
