With deep sorrow, we announce the untimely passing of our dear friend and colleague, Pál Bódis, who died in a tragic accident on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
Pál was a passionate and dedicated professional. For many years, he was one of the cornerstones of WWF Hungary’s Forest Programme and a committed, always supportive member of the WWF community. He was driven by a constant pursuit of meaningful solutions and played a key role in promoting a shift toward more sustainable forestry practices. He represented WWF Hungary in the CLIMAFORCEELIFE project.
Pál was, above all, a true community person—someone whose humor, determination, and unwavering spirit helped overcome every challenge. His loss leaves a void that cannot be filled.
